How much do you charge?

This all depends on what kind of photoshoot you are looking for, prices vary from Maternity Sessions to Event Coverage, please pop me a message via my contact page or on hello@rebeccafamilyphotography.co.uk and I would love to email over the full brochure complete with detailed pricing for you to view.



Where should we have our photoshoot?

I absolutely love capturing maternity and small family photoshoots at home, it's always more relaxed and especially good if the babies or children are really little. This is great too if you have a good size home with lots of light, however if your home is petite or a little dark perhaps think about using a parents or family members home instead. 


If the photoshoot booked for the warmer Spring, Summer and Autumn months with older children (3+) and any pets - outdoor locations can be best. Any BIG local county park or open woodland is great. I have some favouite outdoor locations around Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire that we can use - including Lavender Fields and Pine Forests!! 


If in doubt please don't hesitate to ask for some advice!



What should I wear for the photoshoot?

I think plain pastel colours work great with my soft neutral photographic tones. For the home photoshoots a clean, ironed and light bedspread makes for a perfect backdrop, and for the outdoor photoshoots in the winter lots of layers and chunky knits are fab!


Try to avoid any logos or big patterns on your main clothing, accessories are great so do bring them along, I especially love flower crowns and pretty scarves! If you are unsure you can always have a few options to try out.



How long do the sessions last?

There are varying options to each type of photoshoot, for example Maternity Sessions are 1 hour long where as newborn sessions are between 2-4 hours to allow for a little rest and breaks for feeding, changing and napping.


For family photoshoot with small children ages 2+ it is advised to prepare them for the photoshoot, let them know a week or few days before about what will happen. Get them excited and looking forward to it, perhaps even tell them if they are good they will receive a treat. Have fun things and favourite toys to hand too really helps.



What is included with the sessions?

Every photoshoot includes a lovely USB of high resolution photographs for you to print from, a beautiful selection of fine art prints, as well as a password protected online gallery to share with family and friends.



Can we order albums from you?

Yes, I have a huge range of story style books and leather bound fine art albums to offer, all are price individually and sold separately from the photoshoot, detailed pricing is available on request. 



Who owns the copyright to the photographs, can I print my own?

Of course, with the wooden USB you can share the images and personally print your own photos directly from there.

The photographer will always retain the copyright to the images which means you cannot sell

them on to third parties, or pass them off as your own work. 


When sharing on social media and online Rebecca Family Photography must be credited. 



What if my family would like to purchase some prints or an albums?

That's fine you can share the photographs from your wooden USB with your family and friends, as well as options to buy seperate USBs to give as gifts. Prints are available to buy directly from your own online password protected gallery.

Albums and books can be ordered on request any time after the photoshoot.



Do you require a deposit?

Yes I require a 50% deposit upon booking, and the remainder of the balance paid on or before the photoshoot.



Are you insured?

Yes I have very comprehensive insurance which covers all of my equipment, public liability and also professional indemnity. 

I can happily provide proof upon request.



How do we make a booking?

Firstly you can pop me a little message to outline what kind of photoshoot you are looking for via my contact page or on hello@rebeccafamilyphotography.co.uk


I will then send over my full brochure for you to check out, it includes full pricing and an in-depth description for each seperate session. After answering any other questions you my have and selecting your session and desired date I will then email over a booking form along with my full terms and conditions for you to fill out. 


Completion of these forms and a 50% deposit is required to secure the booking, I then send a fully signed confirmation which you can keep safe for your own records.



What happens if it rains on our outdoor photoshoot?

If the forecast isn't great and you'd like to wait until another day for better weather we can reschedule, unlike weddings portrait session dates can be flexiable and be moved. Alternatively if you want to stick to your original date we can make a fab feature of it, wrap up warm and grab the wellies and umbrellas!



What happens if we need to cancel our photoshoot?

If you need to fully cancel your photoshoot after booking unfortuntely you will lose the deposit given. If you need to reschedule your photoshoot for a valid reason and in a reasonable amount of time I will of course accommodate where possible, and I will send over new available dates to choose from, but please note this can only be rearranged once.
